We often carry our deepest wounds not just in our minds, but in our bodies. Chronic tension, anxiety, a sense of being "stuck," or feeling disconnected from yourself can be signs that your nervous system is holding onto past experiences.
Somatic Depth Psychotherapy is a holistic therapeutic model that combines the exploratory power of depth psychology (working with the unconscious, dreams, and patterns) with the regulating intelligence of somatic (body-based) practices.
What does this mean for you?
In our sessions, we won't just talk about your experiences; we will compassionately learn to listen to them as they live in your body. We honor the body not as a separate entity, but as an essential source of wisdom and a pathway to profound healing.
This approach is effective for:
In our work together, we may incorporate:
The goal is not to "fix" you, but to guide you home to your innate wholeness, empowering you to live a more embodied, authentic, and fulfilling life.

Moriah’s lifelong connection with horses taught her what it means to feel truly calm and grounded. That early, personal healing inspired her to weave their wisdom into her professional practice. Now, certified in Equine-Assisted Learning, she is integrating it with her somatic therapy to create a unique, powerful modality.
This approach works because horses are master perceivers. As prey animals, they are exquisitely attuned to our emotional and somatic states, sensing shifts in our breath, heart rate, and energy. They demand we be present and authentic, reflecting our inner world back to us with unwavering honesty. In their presence, facades fall away, and lasting healing can begin. They become teachers of boundaries, non-verbal communication, and congruent relationship.
In a session, the horse is your co-facilitator. Through grounded, experiential activities, you’ll learn to notice your body’s sensations, regulate your nervous system, and integrate new insights about your relational patterns and stress responses. The horse's immediate feedback offers a powerful mirror for your internal shifts.
This work is effective for those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions, or for anyone seeking a deeper mind-body connection.

Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAP) is a modality that uses medicine to facilitate profound psychological and emotional shifts. However, the key to lasting transformation lies in the therapeutic work done before and after the experience. Our process provides essential support to help you navigate your journey with safety and intention.
In preparation sessions, we establish a foundation of trust and safety. We will work together to set clear intentions for your session and introduce somatic practices to help you cultivate a grounded and present state of awareness. This prepares your mind and body to engage with the medicine effectively and meaningfully.
The integration process is where insights are woven into lasting change. We help you process the experience, translate revelations into practical understanding, and embody new perspectives. Somatic techniques are gently used to anchor these shifts, helping you regulate your nervous system and integrate healing on a deeper level.
This comprehensive approach to preparation and integration is designed to support individuals navigating treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and life transitions, or those seeking deeper self-awareness and healing.
Moriah is currently engaged in this work in collaboration with Horizon Healing, a Ketamine-Assisted Therapy practice providing individual and group healing experiences.
