I came into this world curious. Wanting to understand... people, animals, nature. I yearned to hear their stories, to get close to them, to connect with them. That universal desire for connection we all feel, I've made my life's compass.
I believe that by fostering deeper bonds with ourselves, each other, and the natural world, we unlock our capacity for wholeness. This lifelong journey of connection is my personal path, and I am passionate about sharing it with others.
I feel most "me" when journaling, out in nature with my dog Kona, at the barn with my Equine friends, skiing on a Spring day, sharing meals with my family and friends, listening to music, meeting new people, chopping vegetables, and learning.

My philosophy is woven from a tapestry of diverse disciplines, each thread uniquely colored but all converging on a single, profound purpose: to facilitate holistic healing through the power of genuine connection.
This journey began with the art of story. My academic roots in Psychology and my early experiences facilitating arts workshops within correctional facilities taught me the transformative power of a narrative. This was further deepened by producing documentaries alongside individuals navigating terminal illness; in their courage and vulnerability, I witnessed storytelling become a vital tool for creating meaning, fostering understanding, and ultimately, for healing.
Yet, I soon discovered that story lives not only in the mind but in the very fabric of the body. My own personal health challenges became a pivotal chapter, leading me to become a Certified Mind-Body Nutrition Counselor. This path illuminated the essential, inseparable bridge between our physical nourishment and our mental and emotional well-being, revealing how one profoundly influences the other.
Driven to explore this connection more deeply, I pursued a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology, and became a certified Somatic Psychotherapist. This work allows me to guide others in exploring the unconscious and accessing the deep, often wordless wisdom held within the body—the innate knowledge of the soul itself.
Finally, my practice is grounded in the timeless wisdom of the natural world. As a certified practitioner in Equine-Assisted Learning, I partner with horses to create a space for immediate, non-verbal connection and powerful metaphor. In their honest and reflective presence, we find a mirror for our own being and a path to healing that is guided by the quiet intelligence of nature itself.
This integrated approach—honoring the story, the mind-body bridge, the body's wisdom, and the healing of nature—forms a complete circle, a sanctuary where every part of a person is welcome, witnessed, and guided toward wholeness.
